Call to Order

1. Meeting called to Order The AACOG Board of Directors is meeting in accordance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code (Open Meetings Act). As such, the Board of Directors reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this Agenda whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Texas Open Meetings Act.

Consent Agenda The consent agenda consists of items considered being of a routine nature and contains items recommended for approval by the Executive Committee or by the Board Chair and the minutes from previous Board of Directors meetings. These items will be enacted in one motion, or any member of the Board may request that items be removed from the consent agenda and considered separately for purposes of discussion and voting

8. Consider and act upon approval of the February 24, 2016 minutes.

10. Consider and act upon the recommendation to amend the AACOG Bylaws; specifically Article V (Executive Committee), Section 2.b.

11. Consider and act upon on the recommendation to authorize the Executive Director to apply for and accept funding in the amount of $290,839.71 for the Homeland Security Planning Program from the Office of the Governor – Homeland Security Grants Division (HSGD).

12. Consider and act upon on the recommendation to authorize the Executive Director to apply for and accept funding in the amount of $56,508.24 for the Investigative Topics for Victims of Violence Against Women Program (VAWA) from the Office of the Governor – Criminal Justice Division (CJD); and adopt a resolution in support of the project.

13. Consider and act upon on the recommendation to authorize the Executive Director to apply for and accept funding in the amount of $87,125.57 for the Texas School Marshal Licensing Program from the Office of the Governor – Criminal Justice Division (CJD); and adopt a resolution in support of the project.

14. Consider and act upon the recommendation to authorize the Executive Director to apply for and accept funding from the Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio in the amount of $198,373.

15. Consider and act upon the recommendation from the Alamo Senior Advisory Committee (ASAC) to approve changes to the Alamo AAA Choice Vendor List for 2016; and, to authorize the Executive Director to execute and/or amend contracts with vendors as appropriate for service delivery to clients.

16. Consider and act upon the recommendation of the Alamo Senior Advisory Committee (ASAC) to approve of Valerie Houston as an ASAC Member.

17. Consider and act upon the recommendation to approve the Alamo Senior Advisory Committee (ASAC) updated Bylaws for 2016.

18. Consider and act upon the recommendation from the Bexar Senior Advisory Committee (BSAC) to approve changes to the Bexar AAA Approved Vendor Choice List for FY 2016; and, to authorize the Executive Director to execute and/or amend contracts with vendors as appropriate for service delivery to clients.

19. Consider and act upon the recommendations from the Regional Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee (REPAC) for FY 2016 funding.
